So I have this concept that I like to practice. It involves me setting a goal, usually a purchase of some sort, and saving my money until I have enough to pay for it. It gets a little meticulous, but it always results in a funny story. Here is my latest success story:
I was driving around in my old neon one day when I noticed the odometer was sitting right around 200,000 miles so I decide it would be appropriate to get a newer car. I shopped around craigslist and saw something I liked so I began saving my money for a few months living frugally and contributing a little less to random unnecessary items from walmart. I did not spend any of my tips until I reached my goal, the cost of my previously-owned yet well-maintained Nissan xterra! In case you were wondering what a car looks like in a briefcase I'll show you.

That's right.... there it is folks, a mid-sized SUV in a briefcase.... after seeing what I was capable of I decided to check out where else I could fit a car... I think you might find this next one interesting!

So anywho, I called up the number on the ad and this woman agreed to meet me to check out the car and possibly purchase it on her lunch break. I gathered up my cash and grabbed my buddy Bobby from next door and headed out. After reviewing the CARFAX I knew this car wouldn't last long listed at 2k under bluebook. I finally arrived at the lady's house checked out the car, and tried to haggle a bit, hoping the site of cash in hand would make her flex even more. Unfortunately she knew I was getting a smoking deal and gave me a take it or leave, she had to get back to work. I decided to take it, little did she know she would literally have to count thousands of dollars by hand while I completed the paper work... Well here's the purchase!
